I actually had a few things I forgot to add..... We are very proud of our Calli bug- she was just selected to go up a level in her gymnastics- she is an official Hot Shot- level 3! She will train all summer and then compete in 4 meets next year--- woohoo! here we come, gymnastics world- watch out!

Also, I just wanted to note that this year's Memorial Day was a reminder to us all about what the weekend is for- we had a sad incident up camping- a man was found in the river at our campsite- he had fallen out of his boat and drowned... thankfully his son was found alive, but there was still another man missing at this time- they are in our thoughts and hearts- and we really feel for their family. So- while it is a time for fun and being with friends, it is also a time to honor and remember all those who have fought for us and taken care of our country- even though I am not in agreement with the war we are in, I will always support the brave people who go out there and work for our freedom! Happy Memorial Day.....

CAMPING MAKES HOME EVEN BETTER....

Well, we (meaning Teags, Smokey, and me) are back from our annual memorial day camping trip.... Chris and Calli usually stay a day later, and I bring myself and half the load home. So, it was one of the first times I can remember that it didn't rain, so that was nice! It was beautiful weather and we had a great spot on the river.... we have a pretty big crew that goes every year, so we make it a good time... the kids mostly played in the dirt, but Calli was the rock star of the weekend- she has a four-wheeler that Chris got her a while ago, and she rode that thing perfectly! We are very proud of her and how brave she was- she would get stuck in the mud, or fall off, and just jump up, pull it out, and keep on going :) hopefully I will have more pics to put on here soon of the trip- or some video..... hope you all had a lovely weekend too!
