Guess what? Teagyn lost her very first tooth today!!! It was quite the exciting moment for her :) She first noticed it being wiggly just a few hours before this, while eating some chicken nuggets. She said- Mom, my tooth has something stuck in it. So I dug around with a toothpick and we noticed it was super wiggly and about to fall out! Later on at the beach, she was eating a fruit snack and out it came!

Mom- this reminds me of the first one I lost in my peanut butter sandwich! Remember that? Anyway- very cool stuff and she got her first visit from the tooth fairy last night! There will be many more visits from the tooth fairy to come, I'm sure!

Well hi there everybody!! Not a whole lot going on over in these parts- sorry haven't been updating so much. I suppose a quick rundown is in order though huh? Ok- here goes.... Calli is on summer vacation officially, which means that Teags has a constant buddy to hang out with- and it gives me a little break... I remember that I wasn't too excited about summer vacation the last couple of years, but this year it has been really nice so far! Calli bug is a super helper- she loves to clean and help around the house, and she's pretty darn good with her little sister. They both spend the majority of the day outside in the culdesac, playing with all their million little friends. I tell my friends it's like living outside a Chucky Cheese! Today was really wet and rainy, so they did some of their way-cool craft books that Auntie Amy sent!

On to the Teags, which is what I always call her now. She is quite the mischevious little thing! She has finally been released into the wild because I will now let her cross the street and play in the neighbor's backyard- it's a very big moment for her! So far, so good! It's a little crazy to watch Teags running around in front of Calli on her bike- I think it's better to avoid watching these things! I have to throw in that Teagyn got all registered for the big Kindergarten! She is flying through her preparatory book.... and will not take any instructions from me- she says she is smart enough to do it on her own! She is too- amazingly smart little girl she is! The picture on top is from her very first nail painting today- I let her practice on my hand :) She was extremely proud for not getting too much on my skin.

Alyx is doing just dandy- she's working at her own pace in school and doing pretty good with that. We talk on the phone once a week, and the consensus is that she will come and live here with me and the girls, and keep the same schedule that they do with dad. Chris is looking into getting a house with a buddy of his, so we are hoping he finds a great place and the kids will be able to enjoy spending some weekends with him :)

As for moi- still doing transcription at home- two jobs going right now and really hoping to get back into the hospital soon so I can perhaps go back to school on some kind of program, maybe doing scrub tech or something. We will see what happens, but it sure is nice to work at home for the summer and save all that daycare money! I have been doing pretty good at getting out of the house alot and seeing lots of friends. It makes the week go by much faster and makes me feel more social and fun, so that's good...

Well- apparently I had more to tell than I thought! Off to get these crazy sugar fiends into bed! Love you all~

Happy 9th Birthday Calli Bug!!!

Oh what a great weekend for the Calli bug.... she turned 9!! I know- I can't believe she is 9 either!

We had a lovely weekend- first was her birthday and cookies with milk for the class at school- then on to that night with a family dinner and presents, and then the next night with a spa party and sleepover with all her bestest friends.... here are the pics!
