Calli's concert....

This is not really the best picture, but you can see Calli in the first row, from the right- five kids in... they did a 2nd grade cowboy concert- as you can see from the cowboy hats, etc! It was so adorable- they sang lots of songs, and there was some joke telling, and even a little line dancing! Calli had a great time until she had an itch on her leg- which apparently was a huge ordeal, and she started crying at the end (oh boy!) But- we went to TCBY for treats, and she was very happy about that! All in all, a lovely Thursday evening at the school- and she is glad it's over with..... everyone else is doing great- work is busy, the kids are busy with school and gymnastics, and Teags has been having some play dates lately- so we are doing great! Love you all-

Kara's 30th.....

So, I am 30 years old now! Wow, can't believe I have hit this birthday already.... my poor parents must feel so old! Just kidding... anyway, it was a great birthday, as it also happened to be Super Bowl, one of my favorite days of the year. We always go to Dan and Shannon's, our friends, for a party and we had a great time as usual. My amazing husband and our friend Chad made me this arbor for the arch in our front room/kitchen- it looks awesome! I am hoping to get a matching one for the other arch one day.... I also had lots of calls from so many friends and my wonderful sisters and parents... I got some really cute clothes, perfume, games for my DS, and kitchen towels! So, it was a super good birthday... thanks to all of you!
