Well, today was the first day of actually feeling like Spring! We had spring break this last week, and it snowed every single day- so of course on Sunday, it's nice out~ Oh well- Calli still braved the weather and played outside most the week- she was quite the social butterfly this week- we had four sleepovers, gymnastics thing, friends house's, and Skate Plaza... phew!

So, I sure am in the mood for planting- I spent the day outside, weeding and de-heading all the old flowers- there's a bunch of sprouts coming up all over the yard, so I am feeling the spring fever... can't wait to go camping and floating- I think the girls are big enough to go floating this year- definitely one of our favorite pasttimes around here.

For updates, Chris is doing GREAT at his new job- he was the top salesman last week! He is loving it, and I think he will really appreciate being in A/C this summer.... My work is going good too- one of my doctors took off for a week to Spain, so I am having a little break too. Calli is as above- busy as a bee and excited to go back to school in the morning. Teags is hilarious- that sums her up- she is soooo funny- I adore this age. She sings literally at the top of her lungs all day- especially while going to the bathroom (with the door open :) She also enjoyed playing outside with me today- she adopted a pet worm, and named him Butterfly- then she carried him around for about an hour- till he was all dried up- and then she "planted him" so he would get better.... We had a nice day- wish I could spend days with you more though! I miss my sisters- have to call you- or they could call me!

movie update!

Ooh... i am way excited to find out that my favorite book as a child is coming to the big screen! Where the Wild Things are is being made- I just watched the trailer on youtube.... check it out.... There are still many more movies I wish would be made- but then again, sometimes you just can't put it all in a movie- i would really love to see On the Road made, by Jack Kerouac, but apparently won't be happening anytime soon... anyway- just wanted to share!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEAGYN!!!

Our miss Teagyn turned 4 yesterday! She had a wonderful birthday- starting with strawberries and whip cream for breakfast with Calli, then having a play date over at her best buddy Zaydee's, and then we had a party at the Play Place with Grandma, and Karen's family.... We then came home and opened lots of presents and ate yummy pink cake..... the more I try to break her of her pink habit- the more she loves it! ( i really don't like pink) So, in recap of the day- I asked her last night what her favorite thing was- She said she liked her birthday party ice cream the best- but she also really liked her new pink dress up shoes.... and then she said the sweetest thing as she was falling asleep to her new Thumbelina movie- she looked at me and said very quietly- Mom- thanks for giving me a birthday. I love this little one soooo much- too much for words.... I am very glad that I got the chance to give her a birthday! Thanks for phone calls and presents from everyone- she had a great day!

updates!!!

So, my wonderful parents and my most wonderfulest daughter left me this morning! Well, they were here for all of us, but I miss them so much already.... Alyx is doing wonderful- she has excellent grades, got her braces on, and is starting driver's ed next week! Whoa- where did she come from? I am so proud of her and thankful to my parents for saving all of us! Thanks Mom and Dad for all the meals and wonderful times you spent with me and the girls! They miss you and wish you lived across the street, as you know! I love you.....

Besides that- Mistopher Christopher made his first official sale! He got to bang the gong and everything, and he gets to throw a dart at the prize board later.... I would give you more details, but I'm a little lost on the whole thing still- he has like 80 new best friends this week!

And, the girls are doing great- one more week of school until spring break- it would be nice if it would get above 40 degrees before then- here's hoping... Teags is about to officially celebrate her "4th" birthday this Wednesday! We are going to Carls' Jr for the play place and chicken nuggets (yay) and come back home for presents and Max and Ruby cake... should be super....

All hail the business man...

So, my wonderful husband Chris has landed himself a new endeavor! He just started at Apply 2 Save and he is a mortgage loan mitigator.... he has lots of friends working in this company and decided it would be a good time to get into it, so he went in and they hired him on the spot... He is actually really liking the whole suit and tie aspect- he likes shopping! So, we are so very proud of him, and I think he is going to do a great job! We love you honey!

Calli's concert....

This is not really the best picture, but you can see Calli in the first row, from the right- five kids in... they did a 2nd grade cowboy concert- as you can see from the cowboy hats, etc! It was so adorable- they sang lots of songs, and there was some joke telling, and even a little line dancing! Calli had a great time until she had an itch on her leg- which apparently was a huge ordeal, and she started crying at the end (oh boy!) But- we went to TCBY for treats, and she was very happy about that! All in all, a lovely Thursday evening at the school- and she is glad it's over with..... everyone else is doing great- work is busy, the kids are busy with school and gymnastics, and Teags has been having some play dates lately- so we are doing great!
